Went to be with the Lord on November 29, 2012 at the age of 97. Survived by his loving wife Patricia; two daughters: Janet (Gary) of Kelowna, Jean (Darrel) of Trochu, AB; five grandchildren: Scott (Dianna) of Bermuda, Melissa (Ted) of Kelowna, Allison of Victoria, Tanner of Grande Prairie and Deserea of Trochu; two great grandchildren: Stella and Nora. Sadly predeceased by his first wife Mary. Max loved cars and his daily walks or bike rides. Born in Ostrowiec, Poland on February 14, 1915, he came to Canada when he was 14 years old and lived in the Peace River area of Alberta, subsequently moving to Vernon, BC to help on the family farm. He served his country in the Second World War. Max enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 14th at 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church, 1309 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna, BC, with Pastor Jack Borchert officiating. Private interment.
