    Dear Brian, Carla and Evan.
I am very sorry for your loss. When I taught Lauren in Grade 7, she would always try her best. If she didn’t understand something, she would ask questions until she understood. On the basketball court, it was always fun to watch her and the team compete. She will be greatly missed. I am saddened by her passing, yet thankful that she knew the Lord. I pray that God will comfort and help you through this very difficult time.

  • Loni Bryant says:

I am so so sorry for your loss.
Lauren was the highlight of all my birthday parties. She was hilarious and kind and built everyone up. She was never about herself but always about other people and building them and watching them enjoy themselves. She had so much joy and she was so smart and always had fantastic questions in our Psychology 12 class.
I loved watching her play basketball and completely lose herself in competing. She was fantastic and I miss her greatly. I grieve for all her family and can’t imagine the loss you’re going through. We’ll get through this one day at a time.

  • Noel Barber says:

My most sincere condolences to Lauren’s Family and friends. May God guide and comfort you all in your time of sorrow and sadness.

  • Connie Harlton says:

    Dearest Krueger family,
I only met Lauren a couple of times while attending Midget hockey games with our daughter. Upon learning of Lauren’s passing I was overcome with grief. My daughter, Michelle Apchin, knew Lauren very well and shared time with her at a gathering the eve before her illness manifested. Michelle said Lauren was always kind to everyone and I feel blessed knowing Michelle will carry forth her legacy of kindness. I am supporter of the Gospel Mission and along with our donation at Blenz on Bernard I will make another donation in Lauren’s memory. I thank God for sharing such a special angel on earth.

    Love and Blessings,

    Connie Apchin and Family

  • David Burgin says:

  • Chris McManus says:

    Brian and family,

Brian, I hope you are able to find comfort through your faith in this trying time. I know that your family is very important to you and that Lauren was the embodiment of all of your dreams for her. I remember fondly all of your Lauren and Evan stories that you shared in the staff room; like the time you brought me Lauren’s artwork as a proud papa bear. She was a blessed girl to be a part of the Krueger family. My heart goes out to you, Carla and Evan.

  • Tracy Hunter says:

Carla, I am deeply saddened and heart broken for your families loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of such great grief and loss. I never met Lauren, but know that heaven must have needed a very special angel in your precious daughter. May God Bless you all and give you strength. xx

  • Nicole Rustad says:

  • Kyla Morris says:

To Carla, Brian, Evan, and extended family,
Lauren was a wonderful young woman. I went to school with her from K-12 and she was in some of my classes in University this year. She had such a big heart for everyone; it didn’t matter what group you were a part of, she was friends with everyone and made each person know she cared, and many days she showed me her love and support. Your daughter was truly a light in this world. I will continue to pray for your family in this difficult time.
I know heaven has gained a most beautiful, and brightest, angel.

  • Brian Grant & Family says:

    Brian & Family
So very sorry to hear of your loss. I had the pleasure to coach Lauren at a couple of bball camps as well as coach against you and her. She always left it all on the floor and was a great role model and inspiration to her teammates on & off the court . Amanda & I are blessed to have gotten to know her. Her star will always shine bright from above. May you find peace through your faith, family & friends. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

  • springfield says:

So so sorry to hear of Lauren`s sudden passing. Kurtis (our son) graded with Lauren and he had said he wished he had gotten to know her better.
I tried her favorite coffee at her coffee shop Blenz and it was good.
We are praying for your family at this time and wondering what good will come of this. Maybe there are those that don`t know Christ that have been touched by Lauren`s short life.
You will see her again but for the mean time you are in our prayers.
God bless you and your family at this difficult time.
    from Shelly and Norbert Knuth

    Carla, Brian, and Evan,
Thinking of you and praying for you as you treasure the memories of Lauren. I am inspired through all the messages that have a common theme – Lauren lived her life to the fullest, had compassion for others, shared much laughter and joy, and was motivated to do her best in all her endeavors. While her life on earth seems so short, her legacy lives on through all of us who knew her.
