Krumenacker, Michael
December 18, 1916 — November 4, 2012
Passed away peacefully on the morning of November 4th, 2012, after a brief illness and at the age of 95 years. He is survived by his 3rd wife Rose Reid and they resided in Hawthorne Park in Kelowna, B.C.
Mike was born on Dec.18th, 1916, in Yellow Grass, Saskatchewan. He was the son of the late John Mathias and Sussana (Yung) Krumenacker. Mike served in the RCAF from 1941-1963. His first wife was Florence (McNamara) Krumenacker and is survived by their daughter Kelly Anne (Stuart) Cochrane, grandson (Brent) Cochrane, and granddaughter (Amy) Cochrane.
His second wife who predeceased him was Ruth (Haffner) Krumenacker and her daughter Marilyn Haffner. He is survived by Caroline (Donald) Foster, Barbara (Richard) Knapp and Larry Haffner.
Mike is survived by his third wife Rose and her children Debbie Ayles, Marlyn (Bill) Labiuk, and son Doug (Dorothy) Reid.
He was predeceased by his seven other siblings, Joseph (Mary) Krumenacker, Magdeline (Frank) Loos, Susan (William) Chambers, Barbara (John) Loos, Margaret (William) Somers, Anna (Bob) Johnson, Elizabeth (James) Campbell.
Mike was active in the community, a member of the Knights of Columbus and Kelowna General Hospital volunteer. He read, loved playing bridge and watching sports. He will be sadly missed by his extended families and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 10:30 am at the Immaculate Conception Church, 839 Sutherland Ave. Kelowna, B.C.

I will always have fond memories of Uncle Mike. They say that one by one the chain is broken on this side and one by one it is put together on heaven’s side. I am very glad that I was able to visit with him and Aunt Rose in August 2011.
