We Remember
KRYSCHUK, Norman August
August 29, 1953 — October 2, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Norman August Kryschuk, who passed away peacefully on October 2, 2023, at Kelowna Hospice House after a long and difficult road with MS and other health issues.
Norman goes to join those who went before him, including his parents August and Marj; and his brother, Ray. He is held dear in the hearts of his loving wife of 37 years, Joann; children Steven and Jeff; grandson Lincoln, whom Norman had a very special relationship with; as well as Norm’s very close friends of over 40 years, Dale and Janie; and many extended family members and friends.
Born in Porcupine Plain, Saskatchewan, Norman later moved to British Columbia, where he was a dedicated employee for B.C. Tree Fruit Packers for many decades. In his spare time, Norman loved camping and fishing, and passionately ran his company’s fishing derby for years. Norman will be remembered for his easy-going, humorous, and happy-go-lucky nature that kept things light. He was a generous and giving man, who held his family close to his heart, and loved being a “Pa” to his grandson. He will be sorely missed by all who loved him.
By request, no formal service will be held. Family and friends will honour him, each in their own way.
