Dear Rita, Jake and family:
So very sorry for your loss. I will always remember Connie with her sparkling eyes, mischevious smile and great booming laugh. We were very close in our youth, and I will cherish those memories always.
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the service as I am out of the country. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all, and I hope you will find comfort in the knowledge she is at peace now, in the arms of Egon and Kim.
Barb…xoxo
Dearest Jake, Rita, Laurie, Patty ‘n Families…
Please accept our heartfelt condolence with the recent loss of Connie…
I cherish the years we spent together back in the day… The days at KSS.. the gatherings at your house on Pandosy…
… When my brother LaVerne called me ‘n told me that Connie was gone… I couldn’t accept that… Then I read the notice on Castanet.. ‘n it became all too real.
But… God is good… a couple years ago we were in Chetwynd where my brother was working. He kept telling us about this flag girl who kept him going on days that were rough. Lo ‘n behold… there she was… Connie.. alive .. vibrant… Reconnecting after all of the years was awesome. I am thankful that we got to spend some time with her… ‘n hold her hand as we drove by…
I will always remember you Connie… rest now.. with no pain…xo
Say hi to Kim for me….

Dear Laurie & Troy, Rita, Pattie and families,
I’m so sorry to hear of Connies passing.
I can still hear her beautiful laugh and see her smile. We spent a lot of time together in Edmonton and Connie always included me with your family and friends from Stoney Plain. She loved music and friends.Connie had a job being a court stenographer if I remember correctly, which in the day was one of the better jobs. She had a heart that seemed to never quit… A trait the Kulaks all posses.
