Passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 16, 2013, at the age of 53. A Funeral Service will be held at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2014, with Pastor Dotti Thiessen officiating. Interment to follow at Westbank Cemetery. Richard was born in Calgary, AB on January 9, 1960. He graduated high school and continued on to receive his Journeyman Electrician Certificate. Richard and his spouse, Dori Poulin, purchased their home together in February 2010. Richard worked and developed many close friends at Keldon Electric over the past 9 years. He enjoyed going to the Casino, playing and watching sports (Calgary fan), as well as bike riding and swimming with their son, Lucas. He loved life and his close friends. Richard has gone home to spend eternal life with Jesus. He is loved and will be missed by Dori, Charity, Hope, Alisha, Lisa, Lucas and grandchildren, friends, and family members. Condolences to the Labadi family . I worked on the k.g.h project where richard worked if i needed something moved or powered up i always went to richard or if he needed something moved he got me . he was always happy and liked talking he is going to be missed by all. Rest in peace bro.

We are so sorry to hear of Rick’s passing. Thanks for so many goods memories. We will always remembers those backyard BBQ s. In the 80’s and those Saturdays afternoon at Chi Chi’s in Calgary.
