Went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2017 at the age of 99. Survived by her daughters Marilyn Tallman of Kelowna, BC and Loraine (Andy) McCallum of Lethbridge, seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, brothers Arnie (Maxine) McLean of Vancouver, BC, Milton (Lily) McLean of Vancouver, BC and Bob McLean of Grand Forks, BC, loving niece Donna Clark of Kelowna, BC, special friend Lorraine Powell of Kelowna, BC and other numerous nephews and nieces. Predeceased by her husband Leo, son Douglas, five sisters and three brothers. The family would like to express gratitude to Dr. Bobyn, Jenny Reink and all the nurses and caregivers at Spring Valley Care Home. You were so exceptionally kind to Pearl – Thank you. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 10:30 am at St Theresa’s Cemetery, 2860 Sexsmith Rd, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Central Okanagan Hospice Association, www.hospicecoha.org.

Grandma Pearl, Your were my rock in a time I was adrift. I enjoyed our wonderful talks and sitting beside you in church. The thought of the hugs you gave in church brings tears to my eyes. Peace by with you!

Lily-A wealth of knowledge in the lives of the women that have come before you. Your are blessed to be part of this blood line. Embrace their teaching, learn from their mistakes and laugh with them and their memory. When you are ready head East.
