We Remember
LAMBRICK, Joy
July 29, 1928 — February 19, 2022
Longtime resident of the Okanagan Mission, Joy Lambrick passed away, peacefully and surrounded by loved ones, on February 19, 2022. She was 93 years old. A talented artist and architect, she stood strong for all she believed in.
Joy will be deeply missed by many, especially her family: her children Judy and Rick, and her grandchildren Sarah, Ben, Ryan, Jessica, and Chase. She goes to join her husband Norman, who passed away in 2004.
It was Joy’s request to be cremated. While no formal service will be held, family and friends will honour her, each in their own way.

Rick, Judy we are very sorry for your loss. Your mom was a great person.
I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Lambrick, she was a kind soul, and she will be missed by many.
my thoughts and prayers are with her family.
Joy & Norm built my parents dream home on Avery Road in 1974. Norm & Joy were equally involved in the construction, Joy decided on colours and was painting and generally helping Mom with design decisions. Recently, I was in Missionwood visiting a friend and I asked if I could meet Joy… sadly, she had just passed away. I’m sorry to have missed meeting her.
So very sorry to hear of Auntie Joys passing….
Fond memories of times spent in Kelowna, that big orange cat…
I was grateful to have the opportunity to visit with Joy in the past few years.
Ahhh Rick. ‘So sorry that your Mom has passed away- now so many months ago! She and my mother, Cynthia Ellis/ Hunter were such good friends.. I just expected her to be in her apartment, like always when I was in Kelowna today. I wanted to stop in to say hi, like we had done so many times. . She could make the impossible, possible in the garden and with interior decorating ideas. Very inspiring.
Best wishes to you and your family.
