Dear Marg and family – I was very saddened when I learned that Dale passed away. Please accept my very sincere condolences.
I was transferred to “F” Division HQ, Regina in 1976 and met Dale . We ended up curling on the same RCMP team for the next 2 winters. We curled league play in Regina as well as various bonspiels and police curling events for 2 winters. We became good friends both at work and during our participation in sports activities. I will cherish many fond memories of our time together, which included a fun-filled weekend our team members and wives spent in Fargo, North Dakota to celebrate our “curling season”.!
Sincerely
Larry Proke

Thinking of the family today…..
Marg and family: Pat and I are so sorry for your loss. I was so fortunate to have known Dale for almost 60 years. Dale was certainly one of a kind and the best thing I could say is that I have never ever heard a bad word ever spoken against Dale. I was also fortunate that I was able to see the service on the internet. It was a wonderful service and I will long remember it. Our love to you and your family. Allan & Pat.
Sharon and I were sorry to learn of Dale’s passing. We both met Dale over 50 years ago in Regina. Sharon worked with him at “F” Division HQ’s and I curled, golfed and played ball with Dale. The highlight of our curling time together was in 1984 when our team represented Saskatchewan at the Canadian Police Curling Championship in Summerside, PEI. Dale was a keen competitor and a gentleman both on and off the ice. We also enjoyed the times we socialized with both of you and have fond memories of those days. We were able to watch the service online and it was a wonderful tribute to Dale. We are very sorry for your loss. Jack and Sharon Latimer.
