Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the age of 79 years. Survived by his loving wife Maureen, three sons, Steven (Jennifer) of Winfield, Paul of Westbank, Michael (Rhonda) of Nelson, three grandchildren Jolyne, James, Connor, his brothers and sister Rolland, Pat, and Eric as well as numerous other relatives and many friends. Sadly predeceased by his parents. A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior, 399 Royal Avenue, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 5L3. I worked for Percy Tinker for many years and had the privilege to talk with Don on many occasions. He always had a smile on his face and was a very kind man. My condolences to his family
