We Remember
LAW, Fiona Margaret
—
Former Fort McMurray resident, Fiona Margaret Law, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family March 15, 2017 in Kelowna, British Columbia. Fiona was a loving wife to Marty Law for 25 years (34 years together and in love), a devoted mother to their two adoring sons Tyler and Nicholas, a beautiful daughter to John and Sylvia Lynn, a beloved sister to Kevin (Kate), a proud aunt to many; and, a loyal friend.
Fiona will be remembered for her many joys. Her joy of making a happy home through her love of cooking, baking and easy conversations around the dinner table. Her joy of gardening, always making her yards look so inviting. Her joy of reading, whether it was recipe books, classic novels or current topics in home-style magazines. Her joy of laughter, she loved hearing children having fun or families making memories. Her joy of education, always being involved in her sons’ learning, volunteering in their school activities, taking an active role in the creation of the Timberlea playground; and, being treasurer for the school. Her joy of adventure on family vacations, mountain biking along the Birchwood Trails, cheering on Nicholas at his baseball and hockey games and enjoying every musical note Tyler performed. Most importantly we will remember her biggest joy, her family’s happiness. Fiona made a difference everyday to everyone around her. We will remember her love of life and we will cherish our memories.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the MS Society of Canada.
