Peter – so thankful I was able to reconnect with you a few weeks ago. May He be shining His face upon you my friend.
RIP Peter. You were a good man. I always remember how good you were to your mom this is a very special quality in a person. You looked after her right to the end, now she will be looking after you up there!
Dear Peter,
I ran upon your obituary by a complete conscience, I no longer live in Kelowna(haven’t for many years) but tonight I was researching an article on Bereavements Policies for my University Studies and for some very strange reason decided to look up Kelowna Obituaries??? I can’t explain why?
There is was a picture of this belated wonderful man that I once upon a time called Dad!
You!!!!
I was instantly shocked and speechless at this breath taken news. It has been too many years since we have seen each other. I am now 30 years old and for many wonderful childhood/young adolescent years of my life you were a great mentor. I loved you like a true child loves their father and I’m SO sorry I had lost contact throughout my years of becoming the woman I am today. You were a loving and caring in many ways to me and my Mother. I have many cherished memories of us and it’s unfortunate it takes a loss of this nature to open someone’s eyes to the value of life. I’m so sorry I wasn’t there for you. I hope that you rest in peace and I just want you to know that you had a positive impact on my life and I love you. I wish I could of said this to you, and for that I’m sorry
