We Remember

LENZ, Robert Wesley

May 1, 1940 — August 25, 2026

Robert Wesley Lenz passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, in Kelowna, British Columbia, at the age of 86.

For more than 50 years, Bob shared his life with his beloved wife, Darleen. Together, they raised two daughters, Christine and Karen, and eventually made their home in Lethbridge, Alberta, after spending a decade in Oregon, where Bob’s career had taken their family.

Bob was proud of his career in the RV and manufactured home building industry, where he served for many years as a General Manager and President. He brought to his work the same qualities that defined him in life: thoughtfulness, quiet determination and humility.

Bob quietly practised his faith with humility and grace, allowing it to guide his actions more than his words. He was happiest with a view of the water, content in the stillness of a lakeside morning or enjoying a walk with Darleen. Together, Bob and Darleen loved to travel, making memories in Phoenix, Hawaii, Mexico, and the Caribbean, as well as on several cruises that took them to faraway destinations.

He loved golf, both playing the game and watching it on television—although his family often teased him for occasionally sleeping through a round. Bob will be remembered for his quiet and humble nature, his thoughtful perspective, and the wisdom he shared, particularly when it came to life experience and financial matters.

Robert is survived by his children, Christine (Howard) Holan and Karen (John) Neary, by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces Nicole Sikora and Jaqueline Frost.

He now joins, in the eternal hereafter, his beloved wife, Darleen; his sister, Doris McIntosh; and his brother, Alfred Lenz.
