We Remember
LEVINE, George Daniel Adam
—
May 1975 – August 2022
We unexpectedly lost our George on August 6, 2022. He leaves behind his children Taylor, Danae, and Brendan; his parents Janet (Bob) McParlan and George (Debb) Levine; his sisters Shell (Todd) Levine and Tig (Andre) Lamontagne; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
George grew up in Kelowna and attended RSS. He was a natural athlete, but hockey was his passion, in which he excelled. He was a hands-on guy who could fix anything and was a master at stuccoing. He loved family time and cherished his children. He was a kind and caring man who had many friends, in all walks of life.
He will be missed. The hole in our hearts will be filled with special memories. A private celebration will be held at a later date.

George will be missed. He always looked out for me and would do anything to help anyone. He was funny, charming, protective, generous, always late and without a doubt did things his own way. He will always have a special place in my heart. Until we meet again my friend. love always RIP xoxo
Im so sad to see this. I met George in grade 7 and we remained good friends all through high school. He was always a kind soul, I can only picture him with a smile and those bright eyes.
I think it might have been grade 11 or 12 and he bought this beat up Volkswagen bug and drove it everywhere. There was no passenger seat so he got a milk crate to sit on and would strap you in with the seatbelt. We had so much fun.
I’m sending love to the family and friends and I hope your travels are easy now George, safe journies ❤️
Condolences on George’s passing. I had the honour of being his principal at Rutland and certainly remember him well. He was a fine athlete but also a very well liked and friendly student. He will be missed by all of the students and staff who knew him.
