Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

I had the pleasure of working with George at the Bay. I am sorry to hear of your loss. His warm nature and friendly smile always made my day. We shared many a laugh.
George was much loved by his co-workers. It is a huge loss to us all. He will be missed immensely. He had a wonderful way of making you smile as he said Cheers and Good Day Darling. Such a warm and kind man. My thoughts are with all of you at this time of sorrow.
I will never forget the years I worked with George at the Hudson’s Bay. He was the Gentleman of all Gentlemen! Always so happy to see you and always had the nicest things to say. We sure miss you George! My deepest sympathy to his family.
I had the great pleasure of working with George in the years at the Bay. He always had a smile and a kind word for me. He was a kind and caring man and loved his clients and his Bay family. Cancer is the indiscriminate killer. I survived my round with the “devil” but sadly it takes those it wants for no reason. Again my sincere condolences to Andrea and all the family in this trying times

George was a dear friend of ours. He was such a sweet and kind man. Vic and I will always cherish fond memories of our fun times together over the years. We sure will miss you George! To dear Andrea and family, our heartfelt condolences go out to you at this difficult time.
George, “King George”, as I so often called him was a great person to work with. Our years in Mens Wear at the Bay will always be fondly remembered. He had such a good sense of humor and often kept us entertained with stories of his younger years in England. He certainly will be missed by not only staff but the many customers who came to know him.
My sincere condolences to Andrea and the family
Although I have been retired from the Hudson Bay sometime now whenever I visited the store George took the time to remember me and we shared a wee visit. He had a wonderful disposition and spirit. Andrea he spoke so highly of you and the family and eventually you will find happy memories of your incredible George to help ease the loss. Condolences to all !!

George was a much loved brother, brother in law and uncle to his family over here in England. He and Andrea came over a few years ago when we all went to Wilton’s music hall to see a performance dedicated to his great grand father and namesake ‘Champagne Charlie.’ How we will miss his lovely voice and his wonderful sense of humour. George, you will always be in our hearts.
We are privileged to have been friends with George and Andrea for over forty years. We first met George when he and I (Maggie) performed in “Finnians Rainbow” at the Hornsey Town Hall Theatre in London. George was a pleasure to work with, as he had a wonderful voice, and a wicked sense of humour. We went on to sing together many times, and we will always remember him with love. Rest in peace dear George. We send our heartfelt condolences to Andrea and family.
