We Remember
LIND, Elenora Christine
November 14, 1936 — October 31, 2023
The time has come to remember the life of Elenora Lind, who passed away peacefully on October 31, 2023, at the age of 86.
Elenora goes to join her beloved husband, Earl, who passed in 2010. Left to treasure her memory are her three children, Christine (Roger), Murray (Gloria decd.), and Lonny (Michelle); two grandchildren, Alexandra (Shawn) and Gregory; and two great-grandchildren, Kinley and Ellie. As well as numerous nieces and nephews, and many other extended family members.
Elenora was born on November 14, 1936, to Edward and Hedwig, and was the youngest of five children. She would tell us stories about riding her horse to school! Her first job was as a bank teller after graduating from high school; way before there were calculators! Elenora married her sweetheart, Earl, in 1958, and soon after they welcomed their children Christine, Murray, and eventually Lonny into their lives. The family moved around and worked in many different areas before settling in Westbank, British Columbia. After retiring, Elenora and Earl bought an RV and a big diesel truck and travelled to their heart’s content for fifteen years. They hit every US state, except for Hawaii. Elenora loved to read, anything and everything, and she was always very crafty. The family fondly remembers her outspoken personality and her “tell it like it is” attitude. She will be deeply missed by those whose lives she touched.
Elenora’s remains will be laid to rest next to her dearest Earl.
There will be no formal service held. Family and friends will each honour Elenora in their own way.
Memorial donations may be sent to the BC Cancer Society.

Dear Chris and family, your mom was such a big part of my teen years and I appreciated how accepting she was. I remember learning to dance together. Such fun. Hugs

Our deepest sympathies to the families. I remember auntie Eleanor always being frisky.
Aunty Elenora was always so happy when we stopped by. We will miss the visits. We remember how she flew down the stairs when she took us on a tour of her seniors apartment building! Such cherished memories will keep us in our hearts. Condolences to the family
So very sorry to hear of your mothers passing. She was always known to me as Auntie Louise’s sister. Condolences to all the families.
