Dear Marilynn and family,
I was deeply shocked and saddened at the news of Chris passing. My deepest sympathies to you and yours. You both have been good friends to me over the years and Chris will not be forgotten.
I am living in Leduc AB now since Linda and I split up. I hope that you are coping during this very sad time and wish that I could say something to ease your pain. But what can I say
that would make sense. Chris was far to young to leave us. I will pray for him and you. Love to you, Otto
Marilyn, I am so sorry to hear of Chris’s passing. My thoughts are with you and the family.
Dear Marilyn and family,
I was truly shocked to hear the news of Chris passing. Our heart felt sympathies to you and the family.
At these sad times I like to remember some of the good times we shared. I recall like yesterday a moment when I was having a problem 20 years ago with a computer application … I had just mentioned this to him and Chris dropped everything ran into my office and madly keyboarded the solution in a matter of seconds… re-coding the application …. All the while saying how he’d wanted to fix that for a while. What a creative, enthusiastic, energetic genius …is the way I will remember him. We also remember how much he loved coming over to our house picking and eating our cherries … those are the memories we smile about.
Unfortunately we will be out of town during your celebration of life for Chris.
Our prayers are with you and yours.
Sincerely,
Bob & Michele Sibson
Words cannot express my sorrow for your families’ loss. I am so deeply saddened by my friend’s passing. Chris was a brilliant man, a mentor to me in both business and life. My office and home was always open to Chris. We would talk about business ventures, internet technology and life in general. When I lived in Westbank we were only a few blocks away so this was a weekly event. Most of these visits our decisions would end in front of a computer. Chris followed me through my various careers and ventures always offering his friendly advice. Chris was always there for me ready to help and settle me down while keeping me focused at the task at hand.
Chris has left his mark on this world with his outstanding talents in programming and internet technologies. Both of which will be benefited by many businesses, internet service providers and internet users for decades to come. I’m so proud of him and will continue to talk about his talents to people who I have met along the way.
I will miss you my friend,
Graham Morgan

Although I did not know Chris’s family, I wanted to pass along my condolences. I knew Chris from a business point of view and he was a genius in my eye and very quick witted. Though I haven’t seen him in years, I’ve often thought about him when I had a computer problem. All the best to you….cherish the memories!
Marilyn and family, we are so sad to hear of Chris’ passing. With love, Barbara & Steve
Dear Marilyn and family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families during this sad time. Chris was my sister’s father in law. They invited me and my kids into thier home for christmas, after our house fire.
Peace, sadness, regret
Dear Marilyn and family,
I was scrolling through recent obituaries because a friend just passed the other day and was shocked to see Chris’ picture. I always made a point of stopping by his office at Arctic Data, back in the old days, because he always had something funny and/or interesting to say. He was such a brilliant guy. I’m very sorry for your loss.
Sincerely, Donna Szelest
Dear Marilyn and family;
I am so sorry to hear that Chris has passed away. I am utterly shocked.
Chris was a mentor, friend, and brilliant man. I always thought he was a super genius and he was.
I have so many fond memories such as his love for his Camry, his programming skills, and his awesome sense of humor.
Chris was one of those “impossible to forget” people. He touched many lives and he helped shape mine.
My sincere condolences for your loss
Stephen Grant
