We Remember

LOPES, Joaquim “Jack”

January 24, 1936 — July 1, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we regretfully announce that Jack Lopes, born in Casegas, Portugal, went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2023, at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 52 years, Maria. Jack is survived by his son Rui (Niva) of Vancouver, BC; his daughter Caroline (John) of Kelowna, BC; his granddaughter Makayla of Kelowna, BC; and by many nieces and nephews.

Dad, you will truly be missed. You are with mom again. Rest in Peace. You both will always be in our hearts and will never be forgotten. Til we meet again.

In his last three years, Jack was well cared for and his family would like to express their gratitude to all the staff at Three Links Manor.

Should family and friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of BC.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held on SATURDAY, JULY 29, 2023, at 1:00 PM (PST), at SPRINGFIELD FUNERAL HOME, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
