My husband John and I are saddened to read the passing of Dez. When I was Mayor of Penhold I would call Fourlane Ford and ask if they would provide a car for the Innisfail parade. Dez was who I always spoke with and he was always willing to help. Dez was an absolute gentleman! He had a smile and way about him that made you feel like you knew him forever. We are deeply sorry for your loss, our thoughts and prayers are with you and family at this difficult time. God Bless.

I had the pleasure of working with this wonderful, gentle. man. He was a funny guy but dedicated to what he was doing. Loved hockey and was an avid supporter.
I only knew Dez through working with him at Nissan, but I wanted to say he had the kindest soul and the biggest heart. Anytime I was down he would wrap me in a bear hug and make me smile. His smile and laugh was infectious! And I would always bug him about his hot pink tie because it was my favourite! I cannot imagine what you guys are going through right now and it is always hard to loose someone dear to us but know we are all here to help you in anyway possible. We will be there to support you on Wednesday.
So sorry to hear about your loss. Thoughts and prayers send to you
Thoughts and love with you.
We were so saddened to hear of Dez’s passing. Thinking of Nikki and Danyon and the Hagel family. We remember his warm and friendly presence, his positive attitude and especially the big hugs. Lean on each other….much love
