We Remember

LUIDER, Beverley Ann
—
Passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 19, 2013 at the age of 66 with her loving sons by her side. Bev was born in Moosejaw, SK where she loved spending time with family and friends at the family cabin on Buffalo Pond. After Bev married, she lived in a variety of places including Whitehorse, YK and Edmonton, AB. They bought their first home in Leduc, AB. During this time, Bev cared for children including foster children. Eventually Bev and her family moved to Kelowna in 1977, where they built a house in Rutland next to her parents. Bev raised her two sons in this house and frequently had a house full of other boys for whom she cared for like they were her own. Bev was a kind-hearted and generous person. She is remembered by her sons Sean (Michelle Dickie) and Chad (Erinn Radomske), and her grandsons Liam and Liev. Beverley is sadly predeceased by her parents Michael and June Nichol. A gathering in Bev’s honour will be held at a later date. If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”

Dear Sean,Chad and family
In loving memory of my cousin Bev
I’ll remember all the days we spent together when we were young. Always waiting for Christmas, Easter and summer holidays so we could have lots of sleep overs. We had so much fun at the lake. I’ll remember the holiday we went with your Mom and Dad to Ontario. I’ll remember how beautiful you were on you wedding day and was so happy to be your bridesmaid.
I’ll always remember your sparkling brown eyes and awesome smile! I love you Bev
love Linda.
Beverley’s Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Bev’s passing. I lost touch with Bev after finishing high school in MJ but have so many wonderful memories of our school girl times together so many years ago. Bev lived a “one minute run down the alley” from my house to her house. We had many sleepovers together and I was often at their wonderful cottage at Buffalo Lake. I know she would have been a wonderful mother and loving grandmother. My condolences to her family.
