We Remember
LUND, Perry
—
Perry passed away at home on May 11, 2022, in his eighty-second year. A loving husband and proud father, he will remain forever in the hearts of his wife, Ardene; his children, Nicole (Bill Wilson), Craig (Maryann), Greg (Laura); and 9 grandchildren. He will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his sisters Elaine Reich and Verlee Bate.
After retiring from 40 years working in financial management, Perry enjoyed his leisure time golfing, curling, and travelling. In remembrance of Perry, think of him when you land that shot a foot from the pin or make that double take out.
A private interment service has been arranged at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery. If you wish, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favourite charity.
If you wish to send a condolence, post photos, or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Condolences”.
Ardene and family. Perry was a warm and caring person who always made others around him feel welcome and listened to. With the many years we spent together in the Kinsmen family it was a pleasure to call Perry our friend. His quick wit and great sense of humor endeared us to seek out his company and enjoy our many conversations. Perry will be dearly missed and we extend our sincere condolences to Ardene and the family.
I golfed with Perry at Kelowna springs, what a wonderful person. Sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed, a great gofer.
Dear Ardene and family. We were so saddened to hear that Perry had passed away. Our deepest on
Dear Ardene. We were so saddened by Perry’s passing. Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. Cam and Mort Doyle
Ardene & Families, My sincere condolences on your loss. Perry was always a very kind & thoughtful man, he was my first “real boss” when I first moved to Kelowna and gave me my first real job. It felt more like a hand up rather than a hand out.. I later would run into him at the Curling Club whenever an event was on, and he also volunteered. He certainly left this place a better while he was in it. Sorry for your loss, he will be missed.
Ardene… my condolences to you and your family on Perry’s passing.

Ardene and family, I extend my most sincere condolences to all of you.
I only met Perry in 2012 after I retired and returned to my home town of Kelowna, where we served together on the executive team of the K40 group (elder Kinsmen). I found Perry to be a delight to engage with and very much appreciated his financial knowledge, mixed with his amusing wit and demeanor. He was fun to be around.
I was extremely saddened to hear of his passing and will definitely miss his company.
Ardene and family, I have many fond memories of Perry. Mom (Aunt Roberta) and I enjoyed our visit at the Berry Barn with some family members. When Mom was living at the Care Home, Perry and Verlee came for a visit, it was special to her. Take care and keep all of the good memories close to your heart. Love Joan
Ardene, Craig, Greg & all of the Lund Family. I was saddened to read of Perry’s passing. I have fond memories of the Lund family and their involvement and support of Southwind Athletika and the ULeth Track & Field and Cross Country programs and the athletes that were a part of those clubs/teams so many years ago.. My condolences to you all. Barb
I only now learned of Perry’s passing.. We first met in 1960 in Powell River where we worked for competing banks. After that our paths crossed on occasion and we both retired in Kelowna. He was such a friendly person and I always enjoyed chatting with him. My condolences to his family.
