We Remember
LUSSIER KNIGHT, David Aron
June 22, 1984 — March 16, 2022
David Aron Knight, 37 passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on March 16, 2022, at Kelowna General Hospital, Kelowna BC.
David was a kind soul, always willing to extend help in any way. He had a great heart, strong-willed but always ready to listen. David took great pride and dedication as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Spring Valley Care Center, where he spent 10 years of his career. He had a great love for the outdoors and developed hobbies in fishing and hunting and a passion for tactical online games. In 2014 he started a life when he found his soulmate, created a family and became a loving father of two, and was very proud of his children. When at home, he enjoyed spending time with his family and gaming. David was a man of integrity, he would typically be the first one to reach out, the first one to say “sorry”. He was a loyal and reliable friend.
David leaves behind a broken-hearted family: his beloved wife of eight years, Maria Knight, their son David Arthur Knight and daughter Sarah Barbara Knight; his parents, father David Reid Knight and stepmother Angela Knight; brothers Mathew Knight and Daniel Knight; his in-laws Arthur and Sara Tisbe; sister- and brothers-in-law Marie Rose, Arthur John, and Philip John; nieces Naomi and Bien; his Aunt Eva and Uncle Alden, Aunt Phaedra, Uncle Aron, and Aunt Judy “Doe-doe”; cousins Marni and Lavone; many more loving family and close friends; as well as his ever-trusted furry buddy Duncan. He was predeceased by his mother Barbara Knight and his sister Ariis Knight.

David was such an amazing guy. His kindness knew no bounds. Without question the best friend anyone could ever ask for. Not a day will pass that he will not be sorley missed. Love you buddy. My most heartfelt condolences to his family.
I’m so saddened to hear this … my heart breaks David & his family. He was such a gentle soul, we had great times good talks and laughs working together over the years with him and his mom. David was such a good nurse and a very proud husband and father. I never seen such excitement in a man talking about his wife and children the way he did. David you will be greatly missed and someone up there is going to be giving you a big handshake and lots more hunting stories to share!
Your friend Tam
Sending my deepest, most sincere condolences to the Knight family. Working with David over the years was a true blessing. He helped me blossom into the nurse I am today, and he also taught me a lot about kindness and patience. The way he always spoke so highly about his loving wife Maria, and two children warmed my heart. You could feel the amount of love he had just in conversation. I know David will never be forgotten. May his beautiful soul Rest In Peace.
