We Remember

LUTZ, Cynthia Jean
—
It is with heartfelt sadness to announce the passing of Cynthia “Cindy” Jean Lutz. Cindy received her angel wings on November 3, 2020 at the age of 61. She was predeceased by her mom, Theresa, and dad, Vincent Lutz, as well as by her brothers Ken, Rick, and Chris. Cindy will be loving remembered by her brothers Frank (Debra) Lutz and Tom (Norma) Lutz; sister Linda (Harvey) Thibodeau; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Cindy was the best sister and friend anyone could have had. The unconditional love and joy she gave everyone, every single day, was extraordinary and will be dearly missed. Cindy loved dancing, singing (loudly), bowling, knitting, and watching her favourite DVR movies: Little House on the Prairie, Sound of Music, Annie and movies featuring Shirley Temple. Cindy had such a special love for animals, especially her kitty cats Lanka, Taffy, and Poki. There was always special treats in the house for them.
Growing up Cindy was involved with the Kelowna Special Olympics. The three sport events Cindy especially excelled at was running, bowling, and synchronize swimming. In the early 1970s, Cindy had the opportunity to join her Special Olympic teammates and travel to Toronto to represent Kelowna at the Canadian Special Olympic Games.
The family would like to thank Cindy’s homecare providers, for their love and the special care Cindy received, and Dr. J. Alpert for her special care and compassion.
