Left Us Way Too Soon


Loving wife, mom, sister, aunt and friend. Loved her cats and all the animal kingdom. Enjoyed fitness, sharing wine, laughs and tears with friends. Dedicated professional social worker who gave so much of herself. Many thanks to all those who supported Mo on her journey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Paws It Forward, Animal Rescue or Humane Society.

Leaves behind devoted husband Don, loving son Nelson, sisters Lorel, Fran (husband Pat), sisters-in-law Pat and Terry (Ron) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Maureen’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 11:00 am at

I worked with her as a team leader when she was the team leader for the CYSN team here in Kelowna and then I took over from her when she moved onto the Quality Assurance team with MCFD. CYSN was a new postition for me and she was always there to answer my questions and provide me assistance in learning about the services the CYSN team provided to the children with special needs. She was a wonderful person and a valued colleague. My thoughts and prays are with you.
