We Remember

MACLEOD, Willard

June 21, 1932 — May 3, 2011

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Willard MacLeod.  He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Bernice, daughter Anne, son Jeff and daughter in-law Sandra, as well as his cherished granddaughters, Kate and Clare.  He is survived by sister Phyllis (Sandy) and brothers Lloyd (Audrey) and George.  Predeceased by parents Bruce and Myrtle, brother Everett, and sister Margie.  Willard was born in Grand View, PEI, was a long time employee of Amoco Canada, in Calgary, Alberta and retired to Kelowna, BC.  A Memorial Service will be held at the Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield  Road, Kelowna, BC on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 4:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Dr. Lorna Hillian, with refreshments to follow.  In lieu of flowers donations to First United Church, 721 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna, B.C. V1Y 6P6 or to the Parkinson Society of Canada at 4211 Yonge St. Suite 316, Toronto ON, M2P 2A9, would be appreciated.  Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.springfieldfuneralhome.com, 250-860-7077.
