Lola Lillian MacPherson, aged 83, passed away on August 10, 2018 at Brookhaven Care Centre in Westbank, BC with her son Bob by her side. Lola was born in Central Butte, SK to Walter and Lydia Thompson on February 19, 1935.
Lola is survived by her four children Brenda (Ritchie), Bonnie, Bill (Kim), Bob (Terry). She also leaves behind seven grandchildren: Colt, Nevada (Greg), Adam (Caroline), Adelaide, Bobby, Murray and Breanna, as well as three great grandchildren Chevy, Ryder and Rhianna. She is also survived by her brother Ralph Thompson and sister Fae (Mac) Sheppard, sister-in-law Joyce MacPherson, brother-in-law Ivan Brown, several nieces and nephews and life long friends Marlene Borthwick and Eva Panchuk.

Mom loved her family and friends and would visit them every opportunity she had. She was the best mom and grandma anyone could ever ask for. She crocheted afghans for all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and sewed each of them a new pair of pajamas every Christmas. She was also up for a good game of Pinnacle whenever the opportunity arose, as this was a Thompson family tradition.
She was a very selfless person who held a lot of love in her heart for her family and friends.
Our family would like to thank all the staff at Brookhaven for the excellent care she received during her short stay.
