Born November 15, 1923 in North Vancouver, BC and passed away on October 10, 2015 in Kelowna, BC. Fred was a resident of North Vancouver for 75 years, then moved to Kelowna, BC. Survived by two sons, Richard and Fred Jr.; three grandchildren, Kevin, Lindsay and Jordan Mark; one great grandson Jonah Mark; as well as one sister; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and will be missed by his many friends. Predeceased by his wife Beatrice (nee Leo) and two brothers. Fred’s first love was for his family then his country. He served in the Canadian Navy during World War II. Fred was a life-time member of the Capilano Sports Men’s Club and past member of the Tyee Ski Club. He had a love for the great outdoors: skiing, fishing, hunting and roaming in the mountains. Fred was a proud Canadian and proud of his Irish heritage.
