Donna, Sandra, and Cal:
I’m so sorry that I am just seeing this now. What memories I have of Don and your family! I remember my Dad saying that Don lied about his age to get his job at McGavin’s, and never looked back. I also remember that he gave me this giant orange stuffed rabbit as a baby gift; I had that rabbit for years afterward!
He was a special man, and a wonderful reminder of a special time in our lives. My condolences to you all.
Today I was going thru some old files , which included information about McGavins. Right away thought of Don ,,,, Don Marr one of the nicest people I was fortunate to work with. Always smiling . I now only wish I would of picked up the phone years ago to talk to him again.. My condolences .
