We Remember

Passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the age of 70. Marilyn is fondly remembered by her loving husband Darwin of 53 years, 2 sons: Darren (Tamera) of Richmond and Mark (Patsy) of Kelowna, 4 grandchildren: Emily, Clare, Alix, and Morgan, and 2 sisters: Jane and Penny. Marilyn was a people person who connected with all those she came in contact with. She loved family and especially being a grandmother. Marilyn was a wonderful cook, loved bridge, racquetball and tennis with friends here and in Mesa, Arizona. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior, 399 Royal Avenue, Kelowna, BC V1Y 5L3 (www.bccancerfoundation.com).

**Come and join us for an informal open house celebrating the truly amazing life of Marilyn. Bring your stories, pictures, and cheerful memories to the Mission Activity Centre at
Sarsons beach, 4398 Hobson Rd, Kelowna, B.C. on May 11, 2013 from 11:00am til 2:00pm.

Coffee, tea, and of course some of Marilyn’s famous treats will be on hand.

The Mathison family is hoping the weather will cooperate and the stories will be filled with laughter and joyful tales of her many, many activities and adventures.

As “Plum/Purple” was Marilyn’s favorite color, please join in this very purple of gatherings.

Regards, The Mathison family.**
