Graham passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was a kind, generous, and fun loving man who was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Graham is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 38 years, Sue, his children Ian (Svetlana) and Jennifer (Tony), his sister Sharen and family, and his late sister Wendy’s family. He was the loving grandfather to Evan, James, Adrian and Nicholas.
Born in Vancouver he graduated from Churchill High School and went on to Notre Dame University in Nelson where he received his BA. He then attended UBC Law School and was called to the bar in 1972. Graham practiced law in Surrey, Kamloops, and Kelowna.
Graham met his wife Sue at Whistler in 1973 and they married in England in 1975. Their son Ian was born in Vancouver in 1978 and their daughter Jennifer in Kamloops in 1979. Graham and his family enjoyed spending time together skiing, sailing, hiking, fishing and summers at the family cabin on the Shuswap. Graham and Sue enjoyed travelling with friends and family, and most recently in their fifth wheel.
Graham was an active Mason joining Mount St. Paul Lodge No. 109 in Kamloops. He served as the Worshipful Master of Prince Charles Lodge No. 153 in Kelowna and also District Deputy of District No. 9. Proceeding to the Scottish Rite he became a member of the Lodge of Perfection, The Rose Croix, The Consistory and was bestowed the 33rd Degree. Graham also joined The Royal Order of Scotland.

We were saddened to hear about Grahman’s passing. We appreciated his wisdom & advise to us over the years.

May Graham rest in peace!
We are deeply saddened by Graham’s passing. He was a such a kind and gentle soul. He has touched the lives of many people and will always hold a place in their hearts. Although Graham was a lawyer….there are NO “lawyer” jokes that could ever be uttered about Graham…he just did his job with the utmost of intelligence, kindness and sincerity….not unlike him in his personal relationships. Condolesences go out to Sue, Ian, Jen and families for the loss of a great & wonderful man. He will be greatly missed by all.
Sorry to hear of Graham’s passing. While I didn’t know him very well I will always remember conveyancing files between Grumpy and Oops. Let your good memories stay close to your heart to let the healing begin.
My condolences to family of a great guy and law school buddy.

So shocked and saddened to hear of Graham’s passing; we go back a long way-to SWC high school where we shared many crazy teen adventures; Graham (“Big Red” then) and I set the record for attempts at passing hs French- then they gifted it to us; so sorry for you Sue, Ian, Jennifer and families. I will always remember his quiet reassuring confidence as a lawyer, a great guy.
Condolences from Fran and I to Sue and family. I have many fond memories of Big Red during and after law school. We were deeply saddened to hear of his passing.
We wish to extend our condolences with the passing of Graham to Sue and her family. Even though we were the new neighbours on the street, we felt fortunate to have gotten to know Graham a little bit. We will miss him. We wish Sue and her children and grandchildren comfort and strength now and in the future.
