My thoughts and prayers are sent your way. No time is the right time when it comes to letting go, people say he is better off now and at peace which is true but he will be greatly missed. Wishing you all the happy memories and joy your family friends had together with Dad, Shorty or Mel. Take care. Sincerely Christine
We are sorry to hear of your loss Joan, may Mel rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in the midst of your pain. Mel and I were great horseshoe competitors in tournaments that we traveled to and that was over 40 years ago. It was always a pleasure to talk to Mel at the any chance meetings we had in the Kelowna area.
I first knew Mel and Joan as my mom Yvonne Arrance and Len Arrance were long time friends. My dad and Mel were very good friends they shared a lot of stories of their escapades. Then I met my friend Darlene and all her wonderful siblings , and spent lots of times at the McClelland home ,loved this family. Her dad always fed me and teased me , just like my dad would do. He was a wonderful father, husband , friend. Just an amazing man. Thank you for all your kindness Mel McClelland , you will be sooooo missed. Love from Rhonda Mckay (Arrance)
I remember Uncle Mel as a kind, quiet man, with a twinkle in his eye and a really great sense of humour. Auntie Joan and all my cousins, I know the pain is deep and there is a big void in your lives. Remember the laughter and all the wonderful times you had together. My thoughts are with you all at this very difficult time. Sending you love.
Sending my condolences to the whole family especially Joan, Carol and Paul and family..
