We Remember

MEIER, Judy (nèe Bohn)
July 18, 1947 — March 20, 2020
The Lord has welcomed Judy into his arms, surrounded by loving family. She will be missed by her son Greg (Kellie), grandsons Keaton and Karrson; her daughter Daphne; her sisters Donna Bohn and Debbie Galinski (Paul); and brother James Bohn; plus, several nieces and nephews. Judy was predeceased by her husband Philip Meier and parents Peter and Anna Bohn.
Judy, who was born in Kelowna, British Columbia, was a woman of strong faith. She was warm, compassionate, a good listener and had a great sense of humour. Judy always put the needs of others before her own, making sure everyone was happy and satisfied. Cooking was a major part of Judy’s life and no one ever left her home hungry; her kitchen was filled with love.
The family will be holding a private service in memory of Judy. If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Condolences”.

Dear Daphne, Greg, Kellie, Keaton, and Karrson:
We were so saddened to hear of Aunt Judy’s passing. Our prayers and deepest sympathy are with you during this difficult time. To me she was not only my Aunt, but also my Godmother. She always remembered my birthday and Christmas and was always sure to load my Christmas gift with as many walnuts from the walnut tree as she could. I recall her sending a backpack for Christmas one year that even months afterward I was finding walnuts in pockets I thought I had emptied. She always had an open door for family and treated us with kindness, love, laughter, and food. We love her and will miss her dearly.
