We Remember

MEUNIER, Linda May

It is with great sadness that the family of Linda May Meunier (nee Boisvert) announces her passing after a brief illness, on Monday, January 7th, 2019, at the age of 69 years.

Linda worked at Macleod Dixon for most of her working years where she met many dear friends. Upon retiring, she moved to the Okanagan with her husband Francis to be close to the lake. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren, and being outdoors fishing.

She is survived by her loving husband Francis Norman, son Daniel, daughter Christine (Steve), and grandchildren Payton and Bradly. Also survived by her brother Ron (Marg), sister Judy, and many nieces and nephews. Linda is predeceased by her father Lucien, mother Irma and her brother Les.

A family celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

We would like to thank the staff at South Okanagan General Hospital for their care and support.

Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Condolences

  • Roberta Savard says:

My sincere condolences to family and friends on Linda’s passing. I worked with Linda for many years at what was then Macleod Dixon (although she was in real estate and I was in litigation). Many years ago we were two of the people who went on a staff ski outing to Fernie, BC. It is was in my younger wilder days and I got up to some no good (sneaking onto the ski hill in the dark late at night and sneaking into the pool after hours…also in the dark….which Linda was fully aware of and dare I say encouraged 🙂 ). She loved to tell that story and teased me about it for many years….right up until she left Macleod Dixon in fact. She was a stellar real estate assistant and was my go-to person for advice in that area, Linda was missed when she left Macleod Dixon and will be further missed now that she has gone on to bigger and better things.

  • Maggie and Greg Cole says:

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Linda. Our thoughts are with all the family.
Memories will stay in your hearts forever. With deepest sympathy, Maggie and Greg Cole

  • Marlene Leland says:

I am so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. I worked for 28 years at Macleod Dixon with her and she assisted me graciously with real estate files I sometimes dealt with. I always enjoyed Linda’s sense of humour. I moved back to Penticton from Calgary a year or so after she moved to Oliver. I wish we would have kept in touch.
    My condolences to her family.

  • Ellen Valovich says:

I am so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. I worked with Linda in the Real Estate department at Macleod Dixon for about six years. She was a lovely person, had a great sense of humour and I will always remember her fondly. She will be missed.
