MEYN, William (BILL) of Kelowna BC, born in Darling, Alberta on Sept 30,1939 to Mary Jane Meyn (Kennedy) and Ludwig Meyn. They had a homestead in Newbrook, Alberta. In 1963 he married the love of his life Jeanette Jane (Ochotta) Meyn and together they enjoyed over 51 years of marriage. Bill is survived by his daughters Kathleen Jane Meyn of Kelowna BC and Tamara Lynne (Meyn) Lamphier of Sarasota Florida. Also grandchildren Jessica and Brittney Meyn, Nicole and Joshua Wuest and 3 great grandchildren; also survived by twin sister Martha, sisters Dorothy and Vivian and brother Alfred. He is predeceased by sister Betty, brothers Richard, Kenneth, Leonard and Ernie. After his years of driving truck, he began a career as a welder/fitter at Pacific Truck and Trailer and then Tri-Metal Fabricators until his retirement. He was a member of Sheetmetal Workers Union Local #280. A time of visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th at 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC; followed by a celebration of Bill’s life at 855 Kinnear Court, Kelowna, BC at 3:30 pm. Sorry very sorry for all of you and anyone else who had the distinct pleasure of knowing Bill. He is a wonderful husband father grandfather & an amazing friend. He’s such a character. I will truly miss him he is one beautiful man who left an impression on all our lives and I am grateful for knowing him laughing with him and thankful to him. He saved from the bees. Gonna miss you dad xo xo xo

I miss you so much already, I am so grateful for the many things you taught me in my life & about life. I am so grateful for our morning talks in September %& being able to celebrate our birthday’s while I was there. Celebrating my birthday will never be the same but now I will just call you in Heaven.
