MILACIC, Miljan
May 12, 1945 — January 15, 2025
Miljan Milacic passed away surrounded by family on January 15, 2025 in Kelowna, BC.
Miljan was born and raised in village of Veruša, Montenegro. At the age of 17 years old he moved to Podgorica, Montenegro. Miljan served in the army in Slovenia for one and a half years when he was 19.
After returning home from the army he met the love of his life Ilinka Beba Milacic and they were married for 56 years. Their first son Miodrag Mickey Milacic was born in 1970 and the family moved to Vancouver, Canada. A year after their move to Canada they had another son Mladen Mike Milacic.
Miljan lived a very happy and vibrant life and was loved by everyone who met him. He leaves behind his loving wife, Ilinka; two sons Mike and Mickey; daughter-in-law Milanka Lela Milacic; his much adored grandchildren Vuk, Luka, Ilija, and Eva; and many more family members in both Canada and Montenegro.
Services for Miljan will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025:
The Funeral Service will at 9:30 am, at St. Ilija Missionary Parish, 585 Gerstmar Road, Kelowna, BC.
Burial will take place at 10:45 am, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2850 Dry Valley Road, Kelowna, BC.
A reception will follow the burial, at 12:00 pm, at St. Ilija Missionary Parish, 585 Gerstmar Road, Kelowna, BC, where the family welcomes everyone for luncheon and for the final walk down memory lane.

I know moj Tata valued their friendship and days before Tata passed he spoke about him and wanting to connect with Ciko Miljan. Sending love to you all.
