We Remember

February 24, 1968 — April 22, 2023

Doug Millard went to be with his Lord and Saviour on April 22, 2023. His journey home was peaceful and his wife, Roxanne, was at his side at the time. He will be greeted by his father, Richard, and sister, Brenda. Those who will carry the memory of him in their hearts include his loving wife of 28 years, Roxanne, and their four children, Violet (Tim) Bilodeau, Brenda (Jacob) Schallhorn, Roxy Millard, and Kevin Millard; as well as his mother, Violet Millard; and two brothers Ernie (Deborah) and Bob (Paula).

Born and raised in Kelowna, BC, Doug was a car enthusiast; he loved to show his 69 Mustang Coup, and he belonged to the Okanagan Mustang Association. While Doug was able to work, he enjoyed the years he put into the Future Shop. Month after month, he earned “Top Salesman of the Month”. As his MS progressed, he was forced to retire.

Doug will be missed, and we wish we had more time together, but we’ll always value the time we did have.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sunnybrae Bible Camp or North Okanagan Valley Gleaners Store.

A Celebration of Doug’s life will be held on THURSDAY, May 4, 2023, at 2:00 PM (PST), at the GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH, 1150 Glenmore Dr, Kelowna, BC. If you are unable to attend in person, please join the family online by Livestream at the time of the service (see below).
