We Remember

MILLEN, Dakota Kenni

Dakota Millen, 30, passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2021. She leaves behind a broken-hearted family: her beloved son Ocean Howard Millen; her parents: father Ken Millen (Noreen) and mother Louise Wagar; her siblings Danielle (Elliott), Tyrel (Stephanie), Tannia, and Emily; and numerous extended family members.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers may be sent, or memorial donations may be sent to the Canadian Mental Health Association.

A Memorial Service will be held to honour Dakota, due to the current gathering restrictions it will be by invitation only. However, the family would like to invite all who want to pay their respects to join by Livestream on SATURDAY, APRIL 3, 2021 at 10:00 AM (see below). A recording will be made available to view shortly thereafter.

    Louise, Ken & families, I am so sorry for your loss. Ocean, I got to know your mom when she was a bit older than you and I was teaching her piano lessons. I remember her best strutting up to play the piano at recital. She was a beautiful, sassy, and fun-loving girl.

    I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I only new Dakota for a short period however i knew right away she was a wonderful women. I wish i could have spoken to hear one last time, she will surely be missed and the world has lost an angel, she was a free bird.
