We Remember
MILLMAN, Jean Isobel
June 10, 1932 — October 27, 2026
Our beloved mother Jean passed away peacefully, surrounded by family after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s dementia on October 27, 2026, at the age of 94.
Jean was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, moved to Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver, and settled in Kelowna in 1973. She lived a long and meaningful life, touching the lives of so many with her gentle nature, unwavering faith, and genuine kindness. Jean was a devoted wife to her husband, Sidney, who predeceased her on December 26, 1998, and a loving mother to her two children, Edwin Millman (Louise McLeod Babiuk) & Marianne Duholke (Brad); grandmother to Haley, Sara, Andrea, Riley (Michal) Madison, and Carter; and was a great-grandmother to Ari.
Primarily a homemaker, Jean devoted much of her life to her family and later as a secretary at Rutland Senior Secondary School. After retirement, Jean pursued her passion for painting and travel, making many friends along the way.
