We Remember
MOE, Colin Frank
September 19, 1952 — December 14, 2024
It is with deep sadness and profound love that we announce the loss of Colin Frank Moe, who passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on December 14, 2024, at Central Okanagan Hospice House, at the age of 72.
Left to hold him dear to their hearts are his wife Debby “Cez” Berkey; children Tania (Chad), Colin Junior “CJ” (Amanda); stepson Michael (Sara); grandchildren Asher, Coby, Adalynn, Nick, and Tyson; and X-wife and mother of Tania and CJ, Jo-Ann. He now goes to join his parents Kathleen and Frank, who passed before him.
Colin was born on September 19, 1952, in New Westminster, and was raised with love by Kathleen and Frank Moe. From an early age, he showed a love for Harley-Davidson’s and adventure. At 20, he bought his first Harley, igniting a passion for motorcycles that stayed with him throughout his life. Colin didn’t just ride bikes; he could rebuild them, working on them in his kitchen – a hint to how resourceful he could be and his level of skill. His hands-on approach to problem-solving carried over into every aspect of his life.
Colin worked at Excel Metal Fabricators as a steel fabricator and at AJ Forsyth as truck driver, roles that reflected his practical expertise and strong work ethic. Outside of work, he valued time with his two children in Kelowna, BC. He also enjoyed riding his Harley with friends, toy runs, and camping and fishing. Often, he would head to his beach house in Fintry, BC, for a getaway. A fan of rock and roll, he especially enjoyed The Rolling Stones music and rarely missed the chance to attend a concert.
Colin had a great sense of humour and a down-to-earth, loving nature that left an impression on everyone he met. His blend of hard work, humour, and kindness shaped the lives of those around him. Colin’s absence will be deeply felt, but his memory will remain a lasting source of inspiration for his family and friends.
There will be a service in honour of Colin held at a later date. Details to be announced.

Started grade 1 with Colin at Glenmore Elementary in 1958. Years and life separated us over time. When we did see each other it was like it was yesterday and still buddies. Rest in Peace old Friend.
