MOLNAR, Elizabeth
—
Elizabeth Molnar went to be in God’s care on September 4, 2024. She is survived by her grandson, Joe Molnar, and her dear great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Emelia, and Hunter Molnar. Sadly, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jozef Molnar, in 2016, they had been married 71 years; they also lost their only son, Joe F. Molnar, who passed in 2014.
Born in Győr, Hungary, to the late Jozef Venesz (d. 1949) and Jozsefne Venesz (d. 1972), Elizabeth’s life was shaped by resilience and faith. After her husband, Jozef, bravely pushed the Star of Stalin off the roof of City Hall, the family fled Hungary, seeking safety and freedom.
A woman of unshakable faith, Elizabeth was kind-hearted, a great mother, and a fantastic cook. She worked tirelessly, embodying strength and perseverance. Even in the end she didn’t give up, as her body failed she still fought, that last breath won, she can take pride in her life on this earth, but the time for peace has finally come.
