MOLZAHN, June Frances “Frankie”
August 13, 1947 — November 14, 2018
June Frances “Frankie” Molzahn passed away on November 14, 2018 at the age of 71 and is now at peace. She was born in Edmonton on August 13, 1947.
Survived by her loving husband Fred; children Brent (Trish), Tara, Dan, Lance (Tiffany); grandchildren Teress (Mark), Brenan, Shae, Cade, Ty and Nya; great grandchildren Lukas and Declan; brothers Randy, Murray, Ray, Marty and Grant.
She dedicated her life to family, travel, community service and was Kelowna’s Woman of the Year in 1988. Thank you to Dr. Butterworth for his compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations to Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 19th, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Rd, Kelowna BC. Interment to follow at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.

Sorry Fred to hear of your loss, but Frankie’s memory will live on. Being a long time resident of Kelowna, my family remembers Frankie as a giver to the Kelowna area and was a well respected individual and highly looked upon for all her time she gave to the community. We now turn to you Fred and hope you find the strength to realize that all life gifts are so short lived, but memories are forever…see you on the soccer pitch… Take care, I will be thinking of you!

Frankie touched many people throughout her life and we are all blessed to have known her. The memory of her smile will live on forever as will the warm spot she left in our hearts. It is with great sadness that I offer my condolences to you Fred and your family.

Fred and all, I was saddened to see the Facebook posting of cousin Frankie’s passing. She was always the one who would keep the family together. She warmly invited us to your home on many occasions and I was always grateful she had thought to include “Dave’s kids”
I will miss her, and I am sad I didn’t see her more often. Such a kind and generous spirit. My condolences to you and your family.

I was so sorry to hear, as I know you were close. Having met her only a few occasions, I do recall with fondness how friendly and spirited she was, and will remember her kindly.

Fred. So sorry to hear of your wife’s passing and just wanted to pass on my condolences.
Our deepest condolences to the family. In 1987 – 1990 Frankie was the first day care giver we had experience with for our 2 children, Kristen then Carmen. She was also to the best!! I wish she could have moved to Victoria with us. Just last week my husband and I were talking about how wonderfully caring and giving Frankie was and how there doesn’t seem to be daycare like that anymore. Know she had an impact on all the families she touched, an influence of giving, caring and sharing. Take joy in all the memories she has left you with.
For all the Molzahn and Wight Families, May the memories of Frankie’s laughter, her welcoming smile, and the love and caring she had for all the Family relatives and her many friends hold dear in your heart. A life well lived is a lasting inspiration for us all!
