—
1923 – 2022
UPDATE: A Celebration of Life will be held for Jean on SATURDAY, MAY 20, 2023, at 1:00 PM, at SPRINGFIELD FUNERAL HOME, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
With great sadness, we announce the passing of our dear mother, Lillian Jean Moore (née Gunn).
Predeceased by her husband Stan, Jean is survived by Donald (Jane), Douglas (Donna), Alan (Donna), six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and by her sister Shirley Liddell.
Born in Stony Beach, Saskatchewan in 1923, Jean enjoyed a long, full life. She was a dedicated wife and loving mother. She enjoyed a rich family life. As the Moores moved from Saskatchewan to Ontario and finally to BC, her circle of friends was wide and varied. Jean retained many acquaintances, including those she and Stan met during their years in Sandstone and on their frequent travels.
The family wishes to thank the following for their exceptional care: Dr. Ketch, Bayshore Home Health, Glenmore Lodge, and staff at KGH Emergency and comfort care on 5B.
If you wish to send a condolence, post photos, or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Condolences”.
