A Celebration of John’s Life will take place on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2023, at 1:00 PM (PST), in the Family Centre at SPRINGFIELD FUNERAL HOME, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. If you are unable to attend in person, please join the family online by Livestream at the time of the service (see below), a recording will be made available to view shortly thereafter.
The family is saddened to announce the passing of John Wayne Morrison of Kelowna, BC on November 9,2023, at the age of 72. John leaves behind a legacy filled with many friends and family members. He was proud of his grandchildren and was always quick to share a story of the many memories he made during his lifetime.
Born in Mirimichi, NB, John was brother to twelve siblings. He was predeceased by his mother, Wilda Taylor, and father, Joseph Raymond Morrison, and his brother, Howard. He leaves behind his wife, Dona; three children Natalie, John (Trudy), and Dennis (Jennifer); nine grandchildren Crista (Zack), Luke, Célina (Liam), Steel, Lyon, Makayla, Arielle, Hailey-Mae and Isabella-Rae; and great-grandchildren Benjamin, Stella, and Finley.
He has made a mark on all of our hearts and was always quick to lend a hand or an ear to anyone in need.
May he rest eternally.

Dona and family, I am so sorry to see that John passed away. He was a good man. I remember him up on our roof stomping his feet so that he would sound like Santa’s reindeer landing. He had a good time and all the kids were so excited. I have really good memories of John. Love your friend Rin
