We Remember

MORSE, Marlys “Marley”

July 1, 1953 — November 23, 2018

Born July 1, 1953 in Winnipeg, MB, Marlys “Marley” Morse passed away on November 23, 2018 at the Kelowna General Hospital. She is survived by her loving family, mother Louise Morse and sister Karen Morse and her children Zac, David and Becky. Marley is predeceased by her father Zack in 1997.

Marley graduated from Nursing in 1975. She worked in Edmonton, Vancouver and then Kelowna. Travelling was a passion of hers, visiting Australia and other warm locations – even Cuba just in the last few weeks. Her other love was her dogs, with too many names to mention.

At her request, there will not be a service here in Kelowna, but the family will gather to lay her to rest in Manitoba in the Spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marley’s name to Paws It Forward, www.pawsitforward.org.

  • Vee Manc says:

My sincere condolences go to the family at this trying time. There is a Bible passage that comforts me greatly. Jesus promised he will resurrect our loved ones. John 5: 28 and 29. When earth becomes the place of peace Jesus talked about at Matthew 5:5, then we will live the promise of everlasting peace. Psalm 37:29. We have a promise from God at Revelation 21:3,4. There will be no more death and pain. There is more comfort to be read about in God’s Word, the Bible concerning the resurrection and reuniting with our loved ones. May God’s peace be yours. Isaiah 26:4.
