Mort, Dale

On November 24, 2012 Dale passed away at the Kelowna General Hospital at the age of 82. He is predeceased by two older brothers, Jack and Hugh, and his son Myron; survived by his wife Marjorie, two daughters Carol and Candy, two sons Ron and Kevin and step-daughter Judy, as well as seven grandchildren, two step grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was in the services for 18 years as a mechanic. Dale was an avid golfer, traveller, and hiker and could beat most of his family at cribbage. A celebration of Dale’s life will be held at the Glenmeadows Club House, 615 Glenmeadows Road, held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Parkinson Society British Columbia, (600 – 890 Pender Street, Vancouver, BC, V6C 1J9) or to the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation.
