We Remember
Moser, Frank
—
Passed away peacefully in Kelowna August 6, 2012 at age 90. He leaves behind his wife Mona Moser, brothers Roy Moser, Kelowna and George Moser (Roseann) Medicine Hat, and sister Mary Stodolka (Gerry), Medicine Hat, as well as many other loving family members. He will be remembered well for his smiles, kind and joking manner – he always said “be nice to people and they will be nice to you”. Frank spent most of his working years building Dams (Hudson Hope & Mica Creek) and underground tunnels throughout BC. After retirement, Frank enjoyed years of service to organizations as CARP and Kiwanis in Vancouver and Kelowna where he and his wife were the founders of the Okanagan Chapter of CARP.
As requested, there will be a small family graveside memorial at a future date.
Mrs. Moser you were one of my favorite couples and always made my day in the years I worked at The Bay after having a smile and visit from you both…. special memories and wishes, Darlene
I had the pleasure of taking care of Frank at KGH for the three days prior to his passing. There were student nurses in the hospital at that time so I was able to spend lots of time with Frank talking at the bedside about his life story and how he was feeling. Every once and awhile we nurses have a very special patient very near and dear to our hearts and that is Frank to me. By fluke i saw his obituary in the paper this evening and Im so glad I did. My deepest condolances to his family and my eternal gratefulness and happiness for knowing this special, kind, intelligant, interesting man in his final days. I am blessed to have had him as both a friend and a patient those three days :0)
So sorry for your loss Mona, I had the pleasure of being Franks hairstylist for many years. He was always happy and put a smile on my face. A wonderful man.
