We Remember
MOSSEY, Dorothy Irene
—
Passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 30, 2016 at the age of 85. Born November 18 1930, Dorothy (Mom) lived most of her life in Medicine Hat, Alberta and spent last 12 years enjoying her time in Kelowna, B.C. With her quick witted sense of humour she could always make people laugh (even if some of us were too slow to get her jokes). She got great thrills in beating her kids at crib, and enjoyed letting them know it. Her favorite pass time was her Toronto Blue Jays, right up to her last day, she was cheering for a win. She was predeceased by her first son Michael. Forever missing Mom will be her children Dan, Wendy Brace (Bob), Patty (Rick Smith) and David (Nancy); grandchildren Chris, Marita, Christina and Nick, as well as 3 great grandchildren. Also surviving her are sisters Pat McCulley (Jim) and Carol Skidmore. Her spirit, humour and smile will be missed by everyone that has had the pleasure of meeting her. We will miss you Mom. A private family service will take place.

To the family, I am so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. I remember her bright smile from when we lived in The Hat. She would come up to visit her Au ty Min and Uncle Henry(my parents) and she would brink Mikey and Danny with her. She was a lovely lady.
To Pat and Carol, as we get older we loose people we love. Remember the good times and cherish the memories.
My thoughts and hugs are with you all

Patty, Wendy, Danny and David …
So sorry to read of the loss of your mom.
I remember her smile from every time I encountered her over the years in Medicine Hat.
She was a truly fine woman and, even from my perspective, a great mother to each of you — always updating me with great pride on your progress through life.
I’m sure you will miss her very much and, as time heals the hurt, I hope your memories are filled with many, many positive thoughts about a remarkable woman.
Wishing you all the best in your time of sorrow.
