MURDOCH, William Lorin (Bill)

Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the age of 66. Survived by his loving wife, Bev, of 43 years; two sons: Aaron and Lorin (Wendy) both of West Kelowna; granddaughter Brooklynn; sister Carolyn Hambleton of Port Moody and his extended family. Predeceased by his mother, father and sister. Bill loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and even started snowboarding at the age of 60. He enjoyed working and was always helping others.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th at 4:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, #4 – 1551 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna, BC V1Y 9M9.

I learnt of this on Friday the 30th.. I am still in shock.. Dude I am so going to miss your BS’ing we did everytime I showed up at the shop… you have the right sense of humor and John and I speak of you often… Till we meet again Bill!

I was shocked to hear of Bill’s passing. I have a lot of great memories of playing ball and hockey and sharing the odd (cold one) with him and Egli in the good old days. My thoughts are with you and your family.
