We Remember
MURRAY, Mary Lynn
—
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mary Lynn Murray of Kelowna BC. Mary Lynn was 53 years old. Born on July 8th 1963 in Pembroke Ontario. Passed away May 13th in Kelowna.
Mary Lynn will always be remembered for her wonderful and magnetic personality and tremendous sense of humor. She was the spark that lit up any room with her gorgeous smile, her quick wit, and “snort-laugh”! She loved horses and in her teens was involved in the Kelowna equestrian scene. She also loved her dogs, Tali and Chloe.
After high school Mary Lynn moved to Connecticut to work as a Nanny for several years. When she returned, she became a hair stylist and owned her own nail salon in Vancouver. She later worked in the financial sector, also in Vancouver. She was an avid traveler and loved to see the world.
Mary Lynn was kind and gentle soul, and often helped those in need. She loved her family and would often talk about them for hours. Mary Lynn is predeceased by her loving parents, Yvonne and David Murray. She is survived by her brothers David (Diana), Geoff (Jo-Anne), Dean (Judy). She was also the proud and loving “Auntie” to Jason, Kelsie, Hannah, Sean, Jennifer, Tyler, Justin & Dillon. She was a great Aunt to Olivia, Kael and Luke.
Mary Lynn was unforgettable and had an impact on those of us who were fortunate to know and love her. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Our lives were enriched by knowing our “Special ML.”
A “Celebration Of Mary Lynn’s Life” will be held on Thursday May 25th, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.

Hello, We knew Mary Lynn 30+ years ago when she lived in Greenwich, CT. She was a lovely and happy person and we always enjoyed spending time with her. So, so sorry for her loss. We were looking through an old address book and wanted to get in touch with her and found this online. Deepest sympathy, Susan & David Denis
Dave and Dean, I somehow came across this very sad Memorium for Mary Lynn. While I had only known her briefly in the early 80’s, her sparkling personality, her beauty and kindness have never left my memory. I realize this is so many years later but I felt I must send my condolences to you both.
