We Remember
NEETZ, Annamarie (née Krupka)
February 6, 1936 — November 7, 2022
Annamarie Neetz, born in Salvador, SK, went to be with her Lord at the age of 86 on November 7, 2022. Waiting for her in heaven since 1982 is her husband Albert, along with five of her siblings.
Annamarie led a life of faith and prayed for her loved ones daily. She had a heart for helping people, whether it was overseas or in her own town. She leaves a legacy of generosity and love.
Being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was her world, and she loved to take the Greyhound bus to visit each and every one of them. She loved camping with her family and being by the water. One of many cherished memories was the Alaskan Cruise that she and her kids took together. She made each of her beloved grandchildren feel like they were her favourite, and she delighted in playing games and working on puzzles with them. She was a kind and gentle soul.
Annamarie’s family is going to miss her until they meet again. She leaves behind her four daughters: Teresa Popoff, Bernadette (Dave) Hoeppner, Loretta Penner, and Gail (Terry) Lodge; her six grandchildren: Sarah Hossie, Amy Popoff, Jordan Hoeppner, Blake Hoeppner, Craig Penner, and Rachel Penner; and her three great-grandchildren Kaelin Popoff, Kai Hossie, and Jax Popoff. She is also going to be missed by her siblings Louise Krupka, Rose Kopp, and Leo Krupka; as well as her numerous nieces and nephews.
It gives us, her family, comfort to know she is now dancing with Jesus.
Private services will be taking place to honour Annamarie. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Covenant House Vancouver.
